Rescue Toy Bot In IUGO's New Spy Bot Chronicles, Sometimes Heroes Need Rescuing Too
August 6, 2009

Spy Bot Chronicles features a completely different control scheme than the series it follows. Instead of using accelerometer-based controls and a magnetic grappling hook like Toy Bot Diaries, Spy Bot Chronicles features left and right on-screen buttons and a single jump button, which should appeal to a wider audience. The game also veers away from the more puzzle-like aspects of Toy Bot Diaries and takes a more action-based route.
That's not to say fans of the original Toy Bot Diaries won't enjoy Spy Bot Chronicles, since it does still contain all of the platforming goodness that you crave. The game features four different zones that are said to be larger than all three Toy Bot games combined, interactive hacking elements that employ touch-based controls, hidden levels, 35 unique collectibles, and tons of different enemies.
If you enjoy platformers in general, Spy Bot Chronicles is definitely worth a look at the low introductory price of $.99.
