iPhone-Specific Zones And Experts May Be Coming To An Apple Retail Store Near You

According to MacRumors, Apple may be planning on adding "iPhone Activation Zones" to all of their retail locations to better serve iPhone customers.  The new areas would allow customers to pick up and activate iPhones after already being pre-authorized via the online process.  Multiple sources have stated that these store layout changes could take place as early as tomorrow. The iPhone-specific zones would be staffed with employees called "iPhone Experts" who will be sporting unique t-shirts and badges to signify their status.  Although we can't figure out why they wouldn't just be called "iPhone Geniuses." The timing seems rather odd after the main 3GS rush has already taken place, but at least it should help streamline the process a little more.  Now all those new iPhone customers with questions and opinions about their shoddy AT&T service will know exactly where to go, just flag down one of those iPhone Experts.
