As Major League Baseball's regular season winds down, the games become more and more important, so it's great to see that MLB.com at Bat 2009 has been updated with the ability to send Push Notifications and watch even more live games. mlbatbat0914_screen1MLB.com at Bat 2009 v1.4 features the ability to receive Push Notifications when a game is set to begin and end.  Setting up the notifications is simple, just tap on the "Extras" button and then locate "Settings."  Within that menu there will be the ability to toggle Push Notifications.  You can then select which teams you want to receive Push Notifications for with a single tap.  Each team can be customized to send Push Notifications to warn you when a game is about to begin, end, or both. The other new feature in v1.4 is the ability to watch ANY remaining regular season game in the app for $.99 per game.  Of course the 1-2 free live streaming games will still be available, but if your team isn't one of them, this may be the option for you.  To purchase a game, simply tap on any live game in the scoreboard area (do not tap the blue arrow).  At the bottom of the screen, the game details will appear.  Tap the ".TV" button in the bottom right-hand corner, then simply tap "Buy this Game." If you are an MLB.TV or MLB.TV Premium subscriber you will be able to watch all regular season games live in the app by logging in using your MLB.com account.  However, blackout and other restrictions still apply to all live games. MLB.com at Bat 2009 is available in the App Store for $9.99. [Thanks to mmcnulty7 and mdebonee for the tip!]
