This weekend's sales include tons of big name titles, including the elusive
Real Racing,
Resident Evil 4, and even the popular
Civilization Revolution, so let's jump right in.
Real Racing ($9.99 -> $6.99): One of the best racing games to ever hit the App Store.
Real Racing features great graphics, intelligent AI, 48 cars, 12 tracks, local multiplayer for up to six players, and stellar controls. This is the first time Firemint has ever placed it on sale, so don't miss out.
Yahtzee Adventures ($2.99 -> $1.99): The classic game of Yahtzee, but modified for the iPhone. It features four different game modes, touch and accelerometer-based controls, and four-player multiplayer via pass and play.
Trivial Pursuit ($4.99 -> $2.99): EA seems to be the king of porting board games to the iPhone, and this one is no exception. The game features thousands of new trivia questions, touch-based controls, four-player multiplayer via pass and play or Wi-Fi, and tons of customization and stat tracking.
Clue ($2.99 -> $1.99): To solve the case, you must find out who, what, where and how. The game features the six original suspects, original and new weapons, touch-based controls, achievements, and stat tracking.
Civilization Revolution ($4.99 -> $2.99): Sid Meier's classic turn-based strategy game comes to the iPhone in a revolutionary form. The game features 16 different civilizations to choose from, touch-based controls, and multiple levels of difficulty. It's basically the same desktop version you know and love, just on a smaller screen.
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D ($5.99 -> $2.99): One of the first App Store games to see massive success,
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D allows you to speed around 12 different tracks with varying environments while unleashing eight different weapons on your opponents. Since its release in August 2008, this is the lowest price it has ever been at.
Mega Man II ($4.99 -> $2.99): The perfect game for any old school gamer.
Mega Man II is a fantastic platformer that features 14 levels, 8 robot bosses, on-screen controls, and a Classic Mode for the hardcore
Mega Man fans.
Dirt Moto Racing ($4.99 -> $.99): A perfect game for ATV racing fans. It features 36 events, five game modes, four true-to-life environments, achievements, stunts, and online leader boards.
Super Monkey Ball ($5.99 -> $3.99): Another one of the App Store's old hands. It features accelerometer-based controls, five worlds, and 110 stages. Just like
Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, this is the lowest price
Super Monkey Ball has ever been at.
Rolando ($5.99 -> $2.99): The one that started it all. Rolando is one of the best iPhone and iPod touch platfomers that was created specifically for the platform. It features tons of content, interactive environments, touch and tiled-based controls, and it was recently updated to support the Plus+ network, which adds achievements, online leader boards, and more.
Resident Evil 4 ($7.99 -> $2.99): One of the best survival horror games ever made comes to the iPhone. If you are a fan of the series, this one shouldn't disappoint with touch and shake controls, multiple weapons and tools, an unlockable Mercenary Mode, location based damage, and more.
