Today Google announced that their collection of search engine tools, called Search Options, will now be available on the iPhone. Search Options allows Google's inquisitors to refine their search after they receive results. This is done by clicking the "Options" button in the right corner of the search results page.

After a search, an iPhone Googler can chose to narrow down their results by source (i.e Web, Forums, Reviews), time frame, and a few other filters.

Google describes the "Search Options panel as a tool belt that gives you new ways to interact with Google Search" and have also extended the feature to Android and Palm Pre. They're latest contribution to the iPhone comes at the heels of two increases in iPhone advertising, so don't be surprised to see sponsored links in your Search Options results.
