Google has announced that the company has rolled out a new Google News for mobile format for the iPhone, Android, and Palm Pre.  Most of you who visit Google News daily on your iPhone may have already noticed the change, but maybe this will make some of you non-Google News readers finally give it a shot. According to the Google Mobile Blog, the new format offers iPhone users the same experience that's provided by the desktop version of Google News:
Our new homepage displays more stories, sources, and images while keeping a familiar look and feel. Also, you can now reach your favorite sections, discover new ones, find articles and play videos in fewer clicks. If you are an existing Google News reader on desktop, you will find that all of your personalizations are honored in this mobile version too.
You can access the mobile version of Google News by heading to the usual http://news.google.com.
