Mobile Gmail Gets A New Look, Bigger & Darker

Google just improved the look of its mobile webapps on iPhone and Android. It's nothing big really, basically Gmail, Latitude, Calendar and Task's buttons and bars now feature a new "freshened up" look. Here is the change as described by Google:

We never want the buttons and toolbars of Google apps to compete with your content; rather, they should compliment them. So the headers and buttons are now darker, to better show the content of your emails and calendar entries.

I did have a tendency to always miss those small buttons...
