Apple Is Considering Push Button Antennas For Its iDevices
December 30, 2009
Unless you already repressed it, there was a sad time when cell phones had antennas. Well, Apple seems to be looking back into it.
The US Patent and Trademark Office just officially published a newly granted patent of Apple's that suggests that they would be considering push-button style antennas for their upcoming iDevices.
The purpose of those, as described in the patent, is to:
ensure high-quality wireless transmission and reception
It can be activated by the user or the software (think of automatic antenna release in case of low reception) and it could also be used to plug external antennas.
Ja ja oder nicht nicht?
