The iPhone 4G Should Get A 5MP Camera, Finally
December 23, 2009
According to Digitimes, Omnivision just obtained a contract from Apple to supply the next iPhone generation with 5MP camera sensors. That's a very welcome news since being stuck with a 3MP camera in 2009 is already borderline, but there is no way we go through 2010 with this.
Another newsworthy bit is that apparently the order would concern 40 million units, up from 20 million units they provided this year for the 3GS model.
I believe Apple should push the camera function a lot more, it's just such a practical feature.
Don't you love taking pictures from your iPhone?
