While up in the middle of the night to watch
U2's concert on Youtube back in November, I was quite disappointed to discover how the stream wasn't actually accessible from the iPhone.
Well, at least it won't be the case this time apparently. Thanks to a partnership with Fox,
Ustream will be broadcasting the
red carpet arrivals at
Avatar’s world premiere this Wednesday at 6:00p.m. PST, and you'll be able to watch it directly on your iPhone.
I contacted Ustream's team to confirm it and they actually taught me something I ignored in the process. You can check any shows' iPhone-Friendliness directly on their website. It's quite discrete but you might want to know about it if you know you'll be at work at this time...
To do this, simply point your browser to the show you're interested in, in this case
Avatar's Premiere, and under the follow button you'll find a "Watch on iPhone" badge.
Avatar's Premiere will only stream tomorrow, in the meantime I guess you could play the official game...
Be warned, watching this might end up with AT&T listing you as a "data hog".
