Secret Exit Reveals First 3GS Enhanced Zen Bound 2 Screenshot

Secret Exit has just posted the very first screenshot from Zen Bound 2 in the TouchArcade forums. Zen Bound 2, or Zen Bound 3GS, was originally intended to be an enhanced version of the original game, but it has now apparently morphed into a true sequel.

"Zen Bound 3GS project has grown beyond a simple graphical upgrade. Our current plans are to give this game the time it needs and release a full-fledged sequel.  Zen Bound 2 it is," said Frand of Secret Exit.

Zen Bound 2 is still in the very early stages of development, so the side-by-side comparison you see above is merely a "technical preview" of what the team has accomplished so far.  Few other details exist at this point, including a price point and release date, but the team has stated that the game will only support the iPhone 3GS thanks to its use of Open GL ES 2.0 effects.  A formal announcement is said to come at a later date. So what do you folks think?  Are those paint textures getting you excited for things to come or what?
