The iPad Holds 10 Hours + 1 Month In Standby, Thanks To Apple's New Processor
January 28, 2010
Here is one for those of you who like transatlantic flights. Apple has once again pushed the limit of battery life with the iPad and they claim its battery will give you up to 10 hours of usage.
Furthermore, once on standby, the iPad holds its charge for an entire month. Practically, you can fly to Paris from NYC, watch some shows on the way, stare at the Eiffel tower for a month and watch some more shows on the flight back, all of this on a single charge.
This was done mostly thanks to a self developed new processor labeled A4, which was probably made possible thanks to Apple's acquisition of P.A. Semi.
Pretty neat huh?
