Agile Web Solutions first
gave us a look at the iPad version of 1Password well over one month ago, and even at that time things were coming together nicely. Now with only a couple of days before the big launch, Agile has
revealed more sexy screenshots for
1Password for iPad along with some final pricing details. Let's just say current
1Password Pro users are sure to be pleased.
1Password for iPad was submitted to Apple before the March 27th deadline for iPad launch apps and the company is hoping it will be available on April 3rd.
1Password for iPad, as a standalone iPad-only app, will be available for $6.99.
1Password for iPad, however, is only intended for those who do not own or plan to own an iPhone or iPod touch because...
1Password Pro will contain both iPad and iPhone versions! That's right, current
1Password Pro iPhone and iPod touch owners will not have to dish out another $6.99 to get that shiny new interface on their iPad, it will be available as a free update as soon as Apple approves it. Agile has stated that as new features like MobileMe sync come into play, the app's price will be raised to $14.99.
1Password standard users won't be as lucky. The app will not be gaining the iPad interface and it won't be gaining any of the features that the Pro version will eventually offer such as MobileMe sync.
If you don't own a single version of
1Password yet, you have some decisions to make. In the meantime, turn your eyes to the fancy new screenshots for
1Password for iPad.
