Breaking: Approved iPad Apps Start Showing Up In iTunes Search

March 26, 2010

It seems like Apple is having some real difficulties approving iPad apps for the iPad App Store grand opening while hiding them from us at the same time. As mentioned in TouchArcade Forums, you can now see the names of already approved iPad apps thanks to iTunes' (desktop version) app search autocomplete feature.

Just start typing in the name of an app and you'll be able to see if an iPad version is already approved!

As shown above, you can already discover apps like Flight Control HD, which we unveiled earlier, or even Labyrinth 2 HD. Actually, you should be able to find every already approved app this way. On a further note, the list you might have seen that was apparently leaked on iTunes preview is partially fake. You can check with this method.

A slight oversight in Cupertino?
