The Pinball For iPad - Three Pinball Tables In One App And They All Look Gorgeous

Gameprom, the developers of the much-loved The Deep, Jungle Style, and Wild West Pinball, have revealed that the team has been working on iPad-optimized versions of all three tables to be included in a single iPad app called The Pinball. Unlike many other developers, the team at Gameprom decided it would be a bad idea to develop something for the iPad without being able to test the app on the hardware itself, so they chose to use Mac OS X as a test platform and created The Pinball, or as they like to call it, pinball on steroids. The Mac OS X version of the game is looking stellar, and if the iPad's hardware is able to handle it, this same exact version will be coming to the device with all of the features intact.  If not, the team intends to build a version that is somewhere between the iPhone and the Mac OS X version. For every one's sake, we are going to assume it will run just dandy on the iPad and give you the rundown. The Pinball will feature all three of Gameprom's iPhone pinball tables in one app.  Each one has been completely redesigned to be more delightful and gorgeous, which was accomplished by adding all kinds of new effects and geometry.  The tables have new lighting effects, redesigned and detailed geometry, and surface reflections.  The Pinball will also feature improved gameplay, sound effects, new music, and the ability to have four balls in multiball mode. Since the iPad's screen is obviously much larger than the iPhone's, the game will use two perspectives.  In portrait mode the camera will follow the ball, while in landscape mode the camera will show the whole table. As for pricing, The Pinball will actually be available for free and include Wild West Pinball.  You will be able to purchase The Deep and Jungle Style Pinball for $2.99 each as in-app purchases.  The game won't be ready for a little while yet since the team needs to get their hands on an iPad to test its performance, so just gawk at all of the screenshots below.
