Rupert Murdoch has confirmed that an iPad-optimized version of the Wall Street Journal is currently under development. Shocking, isn't it?
Alright, so it was basically a given that a Wall Street Journal app would be developed for the iPad, but what has been grabbing everyone's attention today is what Murdoch had to say about the company's loaner iPad:
"In fact, we've been allowed to work on one, and it's under padlock and key. The key is turned by Apple every night," he said in response to a question. "But we will be on that with The Wall Street Journal."
Apparently Apple doesn't even trust its preferred developers with the iPad. I suppose that isn't exactly shocking either.
