iPad fever must have struck more people than even Apple had originally anticipated, as it appears that they have sold through their initial supply of Wi-Fi-only iPads and have been forced to push the expected shipping date for all
new pre-orders to April 12th. Orders for the Wi-Fi + 3G models still have an expected shipping date of late April, however. Hopefully those of you who lack patience were quick about it and pre-ordered yours weeks ago, otherwise you may just want to wait for the Wi-Fi + 3G model.
But that's not the only bad news for those of you who decided to wait to pre-order. Apple has also removed the option to reserve your iPad for in-store pickup.
Those of you who were able to choose the in-store pickup option before it was removed better make sure to get to your retail location sometime between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on launch day, because if you don't, your unclaimed iPad will be returned to the general stock and sold to another, more timely customer.
