Tiptop: The Last March Finally Hits The App Store

April 15, 2010

We first previewed On5's Tiptop: the last march on the very last day of March and assumed the game would be hitting the App Store within about a day of our preview, or possibly even within hours. That didn't even come close to happening as the app approval process got in the way of its release, but now it appears all of the kinks have been worked out and Tiptop: the last march is finally available in the App Store at a special introductory price. Tiptop is a Lemmings-style game that features a simple line-drawing mechanic.  The idea of the game is to guide your free-walking heroes through 20 different levels each filled with deadly obstacles by drawing lines for them to walk over.  Lines are drawn by dragging your finger across the screen, but you only have a limited amount of ink to draw with, so you must do a little planning by scoping out the levels with a simply two-finger drag before beginning your quest. The game also features a very humorous storyline, five different environments, and Plus+ integration to supply awards and global leaderboards. Tiptop: the last march is now available in the App Store for the introductory price of $.99, which is valid for only 24 hours, so get it while it's cheap.
