New Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Screenshots Released

April 19, 2010

Gameloft has just released a horde of new screenshots for the upcoming iPhone version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction with a promise attached that reads: "This is just a beginning... Come back tomorrow for a new revelation." But let's not get ahead of ourselves, there are screenshots to be gawked at! Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction for iPhone will resemble the console version of the game, at least in story and gameplay, which is right up Gameloft's alley considering they are relatively good at making copies of popular games. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction for iPhone is said to include 10 levels that are estimated to take anywhere from four to five hours to complete. You will be tasked with controlling Sam Fisher using on-screen joystick and buttons, much like the rest of Gameloft's shooter titles, as he travels through a wide variety of environments. It will also feature a cover system, because it wouldn't be a Splinter Cell game without one, allowing you to sneak up on enemies and take them down using melee attacks. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction doesn't have a price or release date yet, but maybe that's what tomorrow's new revelation will be?  Or maybe they will announce an iPad version as well? Any other guesses? The rest of the new screenshots can be seen below. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
