When pre-ordering the iPad 3G, I was strongly advised against buying Apple's case with it. It's apparently not that great, especially given its price. Well, I still ordered it of course. No, not just because it boasts the Apple logo (well...), but because its capability to reshape into all kinds of stands is really convenient.
Yet, it seems like if that's what you're going after, there are way less expensive alternatives. Created with no more than a metallic coat hanger, this 30-second iPad stand is one of them. Enjoy (youtube link):
