Adobe Rewriting The Wired iPad App... In Objective C

Remember Wired's magazine very hyped  iPad App? Well, there was this thing about it; it was made in Flash.

Although that wasn't much of an issue back then, as Adobe could turn such programs into Apple-approved apps; Apple recently changed its rules and Flash-made apps are no good anymore.

In my opinion, this situation is an interesting test of Apple's latest policy and its impacts. Adobe has been developing the Wired app along with Condé Nast for months now and suddenly, they are left with two choices; give up or comply.

Well, according to AllThingsD's sources, Adobe would be going with the latter actually and is now rewriting the app from the ground up following Apple's new rules; in Objective C.

If true, this is quite ironic. On top of that, it gives you a good idea of how important it is for publishers to be present on this 9.7-inch of LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology...
