Iron Man 2 Takes On The U.S. App Store

International iPhone and iPod touch gamers have been enjoying Iron Man 2 since April 26th, while U.S. gamers have had to sit there and wait patiently for their turn to play.  Well U.S. gamers, today is your lucky day, as Iron Man 2 is finally available in the U.S. App Store Iron Man 2 by Gameloft will allow you to suit up as either Iron Man or War Machine.  Iron Man offers speed and agility, while War Machine allows you to take on your foes face to face with maximum firepower.  No matter which you choose, you will be able to run, hover, and fly around the city in order to stop villains like Ultimo, Firepower, and Whiplash from destroying everything in their paths. The game follows the story of the film, and takes you on a battle-filled journey across nine global locations.  It also features a "rock metal" soundtrack including the classic "Iron Man" song.  If that doesn't get you fired up for this one, maybe collecting the 25 different achievements will? As a fair warning, Iron Man 2 is a film to game adaptation, which usually means a bit of polish was left off in order to cash in on a big name.  However, fans of the film have mostly been enjoying the experience even though some have complained about the average visuals and repetitive gameplay. Iron Man 2 is now available in the U.S. App Store for $6.99.  If you are a big fan of Tony Stark's high tech world, you should have no problem giving this one a try.
