Monster Mayhem Is Just The First Of Many Zombie-Themed Games From Chillingo
May 6, 2010
Chillingo's new zombie-themed castle defense game, Monster Mayhem, is now available in the App Store, and it has already been receiving praise from nearly every iTunes reviewer thanks to its high production values and tight controls. But this isn't the end of zombie-themed games from Chillingo, it's actually only the beginning. The UK-based iPhone game publisher has three more zombie games up its sleeve, so you better pick up your weapon of choice and guard those brains because it's going to be a long ride.
The first of the three upcoming zombie games being published by Chillingo is Pro Zombie Soccer developed by Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team. In the game you will be required to use your super soccer skills to decapitate the oncoming horde of zombies by kicking a ball at their heads. Judging from the screenshots, you will also be able to do more than just kick balls at the zombies.
The second game is Zombie Escape developed by Viqua Games. In this one the zombie pandemic is spreading out of control and you must help the survivors by drawing a path with your finger to the extraction helicopters. As it seems to be with all zombie games, the best defense in Zombie Escape is offense, as you will have all kinds of weapons at your disposal to aid you in your quest to save the residents.
The third game is Zombie Wonderland by Xoobis. Chillingo hasn't exactly revealed much about this title quite yet, except that zombies have infested a small town called Niceville and you must protect all of the openings in your home by using a variety of weapons. We can't really get much of a bearing on how this one will play because we don't have any gameplay screenshots to go off of as we do with the other two titles, so we will just have to wait and see.
The three upcoming zombie titles don't have official release dates or prices, but we do have loads of screenshots available in the gallery below for you to check out. We will update you on the titles as more information becomes available.
Which of the three upcoming titles looks/sounds the most interesting to you?
