New Unofficial iPad Facebook App Makes Its Way To The App Store
Facebook has been mysteriously lagging for over a month now to release its iPad Facebook client. Not surprising that some third-party developers are trying to tap into this opportunity now with clients on their own. The first one, Facebook ultimate, became pretty popular actually despite of its $2.99 price tag. Apple however ended up pulling it for copyright violation.
Well, the ban is not complete apparently as Sobees for Facebook, another third-party iPad Facebook client just made its way to the App Store. We gave it a go and the interface is actually kind of refreshing. The app has a couple issues, as in our tests scrolling was a bit jerky and updates seemed delayed. If you can't stand running the official app magnified however, it might actually cut it. Another good point; it's free.
Check it out and tell us what you think.
Sobees for Facebook is available free of charge for a month, now on the iPad App Store.
