Apple Offers Official WWDC App For Attendees

June 5, 2010

Apple has launched a new iPhone app that's intended to make finding sessions and navigating the San Francisco streets that much easier during WWDC 2010. The app is only available via developer.apple.com/wwdc/app and requires you to login with the same account that you used to purchase your WWDC ticket with.  The app allows you to view schedules of sessions for the conference, which runs from June 7-11, search for sessions, and view events currently taking place.  It also features the ability to mark sessions as favorites for later viewing. The official WWDC 2010 app also sports a convenient "Places" tab, which gives you a list of helpful locations in the San Francisco area, like nearby parking, Apple Stores, and more. If you are attending WWDC this year, this is your go-to app.
