FarmVille is Released...in Australia

Steve Jobs touted it at WWDC, and now it is available Down Under. FarmVille by Zynga is available in the Australia App Store for both the iPhone and the iPod touch.
Users of the popular Facebook app can now bring plowing, planting and harvesting to their iPhone. Best of all, whatever steps a farmer makes in FarmVille on Facebook will show up on their iPhone, and vice versa. As you might expect, a Facebook account is required to play FarmVille on the iPhone. Currently, we aren't sure if FarmVille's release in Australia means it will be released in other areas very soon, or if this is simply a limited test of the new app. We'll keep you posted.
