iPhone 4: International News Update

Beginning this month, the iPhone will be sold exclusively in Germany by T-Mobile with the new iPhone 4 scheduled to be released there on June 24th.  Meanwhile in Canada, Rogers, Telus and Bell Mobility remain iPhone partners and will begin selling the latest iPhone in July.

The international launch of the fourth generation iPhone, according to Apple's Steve Jobs is supposed to be the "fastest rollout ever".   In total, 88 countries will have the new device by the end of September.   Specific countries will receive the iPhone in June, July, August and September according to information released at yesterday's the WWDC conference in San Francisco, California.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 4 will begin in Germany on June 15th ahead of the June 24th release date.  In Canada, although Apple has announced a general release month (July), no specific dates have been released.

Meanwhile, we have been told that in France, France Telecom (FTE), Vivendi SA's (VIV.FR) SFR, and Bouygues Telecom, a unit of building-to-broadcasting conglomerate Bouygues SA (EN.FR),  will begin selling the iPhone 4 on June 24th.
