Apple Running Some Unexpected AdWords Campaigns For The iPad

July 10, 2010

You would think the iPad is so popular and overwhelmingly present in the media that Apple has almost no need to advertise it, or at least, no need to worry about such competition as the Dell Streak. Well, it isn't so apparently. Indeed, Techcrunch's Robin Wauters came across this morning some interestingly targeted AdWord campaigns. Very surprisingly, Apple is apparently targeting some promoted search results at users looking for Dell's "Streak" tablet for example. Of course it's very standard practice in the industry, yet, I didn't expect it from Apple for some reason. Can you find any other unexpected keywords Apple is going after?
