Two days ago, we wrote about how Fring decided to add video support for its native Fring service and Skype. Yesterday, Fring posted on their support forum that they are temporarily disabling Skype audio and video support in order to free up space for their own native service. With this announcement, it is clear that the company is pushing more towards their own native service and away from third-party services. Now, if only the iPhone Skype application would update with video support sooner rather than later.
