Tiger Style’s critically acclaimed and award-winning iPhone and iPod touch platformer, Spider: Bryce Manor, has been optimized for the iPad. Staring at a spider has never been more visually appealing.
Spider: Bryce Manor HD makes slinging webs and searching the stylized environments much easier thanks to the iPad’s larger screen. The game features enhanced graphics that allow the 38 hand-illustrated environments to really shine in both portrait or landscape modes. Besides the enhanced graphics, the other new item is the ability to play on the same iPad cooperatively with a friend, because two webs are always better than one. Players are able to construct webs together and share meals, while creating crazy combos to climb up the leaderboards.
Spider: Bryce Manor HD, as you would imagine, sports all of the same content included in the iPhone version of the game as well. It includes the entire “Director’s Cut,” which was later added to the iPhone version, intuitive touch controls, mind-bending puzzles, five game modes, achievements, and global leaderboards.
If you have already thoroughly enjoyed the game on your iPhone or iPod touch, Spider: Bryce Manor HD probably isn’t worth your time for a second go round unless you absolutely desire playing with a friend. But if you haven’t experienced the game before, it’s definitely worth a look at $4.99. Expect to see a full review for Spider: Bryce Manor HD in the near future.
Embedded below is a gameplay trailer demoing the new cooperative mode.
