Rafter Gets Bigger For iPad & Win A Colcasac Case

July 20, 2010

Physics based games are good on the iPhone, but these games are really great on the iPad. If these happen to be your thing, you'll be glad to know that Rafter, an all-time App Store favorite, has gotten the iPad treatment. It is now available in a full-screen iPad version as Rafter HD.

If you don't know how Rafter works, it's fairly simple. All you need to do is draw forms on your screen and have them fall on a mine. However, it gets tough after a little while.  But, it does a pretty good job of keeping you entertained on things like long subway rides, without you looking like too much of a child.

Besides taking advantage of the larger screen real estate and better graphics, Rafter HD is also getting bigger thanks to its 101 levels. There are a couple of new tweaks that will make your life harder/make the game last a bit longer (like gravity). We also heard it should be getting its own level editor in the near future.

After Apple featured it in the "New and Noteworthy" section of the App Store for a while, they moved it into "What We're playing". This move got its developer so excited that they decided to offer our readers a chance to win an iPad case. And, not a bad one at that, as we're talking about a hand-made Colcosac here.

Interested in trying to win the case? Just retweet this post by hitting the green retweet button below (and follow us). We'll draw one tweet at random by the end of tomorrow and ship you the case. Good luck.
