TextNow is now universal! The app offers unlimited free texting and picture messaging. It has been a hit on the iPhone, now it works great on an iPad too.

Created by Enflick, Inc., TextNow is available for 99 cents at the App Store. However, users should be aware of additional costs. The download includes just three months of service. For $3.99, an additional one year of service can be purchased from within the app. For $7.99 (which is the best deal) users get a lifetime of texting with no future costs.
