iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Creamy Ice, Neander Block, Observation And More

Today's list features two matching games, a casual game that allows you to run your own ice cream shop, an app that will help you be the best astronomer you can be, and more.

Creamy Ice ($.99 -> Free): A fun little casual game where you run your own ice cream shop. Fulfill customers' orders as they come through the line as accurately and quickly as possible to avoid angering them. The further you progress, the more ingredients you obtain, which makes fulfilling orders more difficult. The game features simple yet addictive gameplay, three modes of play, and achievements to unlock.
Creamy Ice is available for free today only (8/29). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 32 ratings.
Neander Block ($.99 -> Free): A match-3 game that requires you to match a certain number of blocks in a limited time in order to progress. If you are having troubles beating a level, you can head to the shop and spend the gold you earn on power-ups. The game features eight lands to explore in campaign mode, a classic mode, five power-ups, and OpenFeint integration.
Neander Block is available for free today only (8/29). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 21 ratings.
Observation ($3.99 -> Free): For the amateur astronomers out there. Allows you to view a graphical representation of the sky for nearby locations from hour to hour. You can also log objects that you are able to observe by choosing one of thousands from the catalog, or add one of your own. You can also add equipment to your log by choosing from eight common equipment types. It features a night mode as well. *Apparently there are known issues with iOS 4 and the current version of the app, but a big update is on the way that should fix them along with adding iPad support.
Observation is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of five ratings.
iPad only:
Dice Match HD ($.99 -> Free): A matching game where you must slide your finger over at least two like-dice in order to match them and remove them from the board. The idea is to score the most amount of points in a limited number of moves, so planning ahead would be beneficial. Multipliers will drop at random, which can be matched with any numerical value. You can slightly customize your experience by choosing from one of five different skins The game features a single mode of play, with three more available via in-app purchase.
Dice Match HD is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 45 ratings.
