Send Chrome Links To iOS With Chrome To iPhone

August 25, 2010
For those of you who envy the great Chrome to phone plugin that allows Android users to send the page they're currently visiting to their phone, then you'll be glad to know that it has just been brought to the iPhone. Chrome to iPhone, as it's called, is a little extension for the Chrome browser that once installed, will let you send the current webpage you're on to your iPhone using one simple button. It's not as perfect as on the Android as safari mobile won't launch on its own on the sent page. All it takes however is hitting one icon on your home screen which can actually be just as convenient. If you're interested, you can find the extension here. Then, hit install and follow the procedure. It's similar to what myPhoneDesktop does, I know, but I find this implementation way more convenient and also, it's free. Now, let's just hope they port it to Safari.
