iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Photo Wall Pro, Aftermath, Look-Up, And More

September 21, 2010
Today's list includes a photo collage creating app for iPhone and iPad, an augmented reality game, an atmospheric zombie shooter, and much more. Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: Photo Wall Pro ($1.99 -> Free): Allows you to create photo collages and share them with your friends and family. Import photos from your Camera Roll, and then crop, rotate, resize, add text, background colors, and just basically do as you please to create your own unique image.  New images can be saved and sent via email, or uploaded directly to Facebook. Photo Wall Pro is available for free today only (9/21).  It has a four-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 23 ratings. Look-Up ($2.99 -> Free): An iPhone-only augmented reality game.  Look up and try to spot spaceships in the sky with your iPhone's camera.  When spotted, use your blasters to shoot them down.  Aliens will fly all around, so you can't stay stationary. You are also equipped with a tractor beam so you can grab health packs.  The game features a multiplayer mode, and nine invasions to stop. Look-Up is available for free today only (9/21). It has a four-star rating, and a total of 12 ratings. Aftermath ($1.99 -> Free): A visually stimulating and atmospheric zombie shooter.  Make your way through the many zombie-filled levels by utilizing the on-screen joysticks.  Shine your flashlight  at the zombies to automatically fire at them.  The game features fantastic visuals, two modes of play, and OpenFeint integration. Aftermath is available for free today only (9/21). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 44 ratings. Tomb of Qin ($1.99 -> Free): A puzzle game that requires you to direct tomb guardians towards each other in order to clear each of the 30 levels.  A guardian's direction is chosen by simply tapping and dragging on them, but they won't move until you pull the lever.  All guardians must be cleared within one turn in order to move on.  The game also features an endless mode, and OpenFeint integration. Tomb of Qin is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating, and a total of eight ratings. iBend Offsets ($.99 -> Free): A relatively basic app for the electricians out there.  The app is able to calculate offsets in electrical conduit and display them in real time as you adjust the offset distance or bend angle. iBend Offsets is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating, and a total of five ratings. Freakin' Zombie Heads ($.99 -> Free): A retro-inspired zombie head matching game.  Touch a zombie head and then touch another matching one in order to remove them from the playing field.  The more heads you match in a row, the greater the multiplier.  The goal is to keep matching as quickly as possible in order to not allow the heads to reach the top.  The game also features achievements. Freakin' Zombie Heads is available for free until Halloween. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 16 ratings. iPad only: Tomb of Qin HD ($2.99 -> Free): Basically like the iPhone version above, except it features high resolution graphics and 10 more levels. Tomb of Qin HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of six ratings. Photo Wall for iPad ($1.99 -> Free): Like the iPhone version above, only it features more screen real estate. Photo Wall for iPad is available for free today only (9/21). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 24 ratings.
