The PlayBook, Streak, Galaxy & iPad Specs Compared In A Chart

September 30, 2010
As many geeks discovered with the iPhone and iPad, there is much more to a device than what it contains internally, or its raw technical specifications. Yet, these also play an important role, and many consumers still use these as their sole selection criteria when it comes to consumer electronics. To give us a sense of how the iPad stacks up on the technical side compared to its upcoming competition, Engadget put together a chart (above). The chart compares the specifics of a couple of big-ticket upcoming tablets. It even includes the very freshly revealed (and maybe non-existant) Blackberry PlayBook. The specs comparison leads me to believe that Apple will be putting a couple of cameras, more RAM, and maybe even a better display, into the second iteration of its device in order to stay in the game. Yet, for a device announced eight months ago, it's still doing pretty well. What do you think?
