Can't Wait For The Next Pocket God Update? Let The Pocket God Update Song Tide You Over

September 22, 2010
Pocket God's 34th episode, Monkey See Monkey Chew, is eagerly awaited by many fans -- which has been the case for nearly each and every update to the episodic God game since its launch in January 2009 -- and to help tide the community over until it finally makes its way into the App Store, Bolt Creative has unleashed "The Pocket God Update Song" on YouTube. "The Pocket God Update Song" pays homage to the huge number of requests that Bolt Creative receives for the next update to their game.  The song was written and performed by Jonathan Mann, the man behind "The iPhone Antenna Song."  The animations included in the video are actually part of the upcoming Dance Pack Too in-app purchase, allowing those who are interested to get an early look at what $.99 will get them.

To go along with the video, Bolt Creative has released some details regarding Pocket God episode 34.  Keeping up with the Ape trilogy, Monkey See Monkey Chew adds monkeys to the island and gives them an arsenal of bananas to torture the pygmies with.  The monkeys are also able to toss the pygmies around, and even throw them off of cliffs. Pocket God, with its 33 episodes, is available in the App Store for the usual $.99.  Monkey See Monkey Chew, the 34th episode, will hopefully be arriving shortly as a free update.
