Mirror's Edge™ ($4.99) by Electronic Arts has finally made its way on to the iPhone, after being on the iPad since release on April 3rd. Now the fast paced running game is available with a slightly scaled down version for iPhone 4, and more scaled down for older generation iPhones and iPod Touches. The game features the same content with 14 levels which is far less the downloadable console version.

The game plays the same with easy controls of various swipes to jump, duck, and attack. There really isn’t much of a difference between the two versions, so be sure to read our full review of the iPad version to help you decide. The iPhone version lacks the local multiplayer, but that’s about it.

The one problem with the iPad version was the $13 price tag, but if you’ve been waiting it is $10 now. Mirror’s Edge on the iPhone is an action packed enjoyable experience that is tons of fun once through. There isn’t much in the way of replay with only Facebook connect for online scores.

The game speeds along nicely, and you need quick reaction time to perform the various swipes to make it through the levels. You will replay a few levels based on difficulty, and you can always look to collect all the hidden bags. It’s great sliding down buildings and zip lines, running across billboards, and flipping up through scaffolding which is an experience like none other on the iPhone.

Playing once through the game is such a good time that it’s worth picking up Mirror’s Edge for $4.99.
