Reminder: GV Mobile + Now Free For The Rest Of The Day
September 26, 2010
A short note to remind you that, as we recently reported, the Google Voice client GV Mobile + has gone free for the rest of the night to celebrate its approval in the App Store (and to save its Cydia buyers from having to buy it again).
Normally priced at $2.99, the app brings Google Voice to Apple devices for the first time since Apple first pulled it in 2009. It allows users to place calls in the US using Google's free telephony service. It also gives users control of every aspect of their account, as well as the ability to send free texts to anywhere in the US from virtually anywhere in the world. It's still a work in progress, and while today's update brought some bug fixes, there are some very exciting features, such as Push notifications, coming up.
GV Mobile + is perfect for those of you who use Google Voice, and since it's free for the next couple of hours, it's a must-have.
