iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: FitnessBuilder, Dawn Of The Dead, Moxier Collage, And More

Today's AGF list includes an app that will help you get in shape, a zombie shooter, an iPad app that will help you create e-cards and collages, and more. Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: FitnessBuilder ($9.99 -> Free): Helps you get in shape by allowing you to construct location-based workouts and work towards fitness goals.  The app features 264 workouts, 2,300 male and female exercise images and videos, tips, stats, graphs, multitasking support, and much more.  You can get additional content and assistance via in-app purchase, but it isn't necessary. FitnessBuilder is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 38 ratings. Dawn of the Dead ($2.99 -> Free): A dual-stick shooter that features a story based on the hit film by the same name.  You can play as one of three characters, each with different attributes, as you try to survive the zombie infection that has plagued the Crossroads Mall.  The game also features multiple modes of play, unlockable weapons, and OpenFeint integration. Dawn of the Dead is available for free today only (10/27). It has a four-star rating and a total of 229 ratings. Ron Artest - Let's Do It! ($.99 -> Free): An app for Lakers fans and Ron Artest fans alike.  It features all kinds of NBA related content, access to his Twitter feed, videos, Q&A, a photo gallery, music from his record label, and the ability to connect with other Lakers and Artest fans. Ron Artest - Let's Do It! is available for free for a limited time. It has a five-star rating and a total of nine ratings. Fortress Frenzy ($.99 -> Free): A strategy game where you must move troops from one fortress to another in order to conquer the land.  The game features three different campaign stories to play through, 33 levels, and an unlockable battle mode. Fortress Frenzy is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating and a total of 41 ratings. Asplosion! Halloween Ghosts ($.99 -> Free): An action game where you must start chain reactions by tapping on a single ghost.  The more ghosts you take out with a single explosion, the faster your meter fills up, which allows you to unleash another one.  The game will go on until you can't keep the explosions going.  It features Retina graphics and over a dozen achievements. Asplosion! is available for free until October 31st. It has a three-star rating and a total of 21 ratings. Galaxy On Fire 3D ($2.99 -> Free): A space shooter that also sports a trading system.  Fly around massive 3D levels in one of 10 spaceships, all of which can be upgraded with different equipment.  The game also features a survival mode, over 20 hours of gameplay, and animated cut scenes. Galaxy On Fire 3D is available for free today only (10/27). It has a three-star rating and a total of 5,155 ratings. Swaggy Dogs ($.99 -> Free): Features four different kinds of games: puzzles, escapes, mastermind, and memory.  All of the games include adorable pictures of dogs, which also double as trophies in the game.  It features OpenFeint integration as well. Swaggy Dogs is available for free today only (10/27). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of seven ratings. iPad: Moxier Collage ($7.99 -> Free): Create and share collages, e-cards, wallpapers, storyboards, and much more.  You can select from a variety of backgrounds, add your own pictures, text, frames, and basically let your imagination run wild.  Your creations can be shared via email, Facebook, and Twitter. Moxier Collage is available for free until November 2nd. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 27 ratings.   • The app must be free for at least one whole day.
  • It must have at least a three-star rating at the time it goes free.
  • The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
