Jailbreak Only: Adjust Volume In The Multitasking Bar

October 28, 2010
If you’re looking for yet another reason to jailbreak, we have a fresh new tweak from Cydia for you. It’s called App Switcher Volume, it goes for $0.99 and it will allow you to simply adjust the volume of your iOS 4 device in the multitasking bar. More precisely, it adds a simple volume slider under the media controls. It doesn't yet work on the iPad, which is still awaiting iOS 4.2, and the corresponding jailbreak. However, once it gets updated, you will be able to adjust brightness, change tracks, play or pause music, turn on or off the orientation lock, and also adjust the volume from the multitasking bar. It's very convenient. What other features would you like to see Apple or jailbreak developers add in future updates? Please tell us in the comments.
