Special Event: Apple Reveals FaceTime For The Mac

October 20, 2010
There you go! While Apple's special "Back to the Mac" event, which is taking place at the moment, hasn't revealed anything very exciting for iDevice owners so far, it did get interesting. Indeed, Steve Jobs just presented a FaceTime-capable app that will allow you to place calls from Mac desktops and laptops to other Macs, iPhones and the iPod touch. It's the same FaceTime you already know, with great video quality and it's simple to use. Best of all, a first beta version will be released today. From what we've seen of it so far, it looks stunning.
