iPad Gets Ping

iPad Gets Ping

November 13, 2010
Good news for all of you Ping addicts (and we know there are many of you), Apple has now made Ping, its social network for music, available on the iPad. As noted by Mark Gurman, it has just appeared in the iTunes app. In a nutshell, Ping on the iPad is everything you would expect it to be. It consists of the same three panels you know from the iPhone version, that is: activity, people, and profile. There, you can track the activity of the people and artists you follow, "like" things, and comment. Then, you can use it to find new people to follow and control your news feed. Lastly, you can use it to manage your profile. I find Ping useless. What about you?
