Apple has announced the second generation Apple TV is expected to hit the one million units sold mark sometime this week.
According to a press release, Apple TV users are renting and purchasing over 400,000 TV episodes and over 150,000 movies per day using the device.
Apple released the $99 device in October. It allows users to watch their favorite HD movies and TV shows as well as stream content from Netflix, YouTube, Flickr, and MobileMe.
