Verizon iPhone, White iPhone No Closer To Reality Verizon customers desperately wanting an iPhone to call their own, will probably have to wait. The largest US mobile carrier is expected to preview new Android-based 4G LTE consumer devices at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, a Verizon iPhone will not be announced. This report comes from Information Week, which states:

The Verizon iPhone, like the long-delayed white iPhone, are fast becoming two legends that may never see the light of day. Both have been long promised and/or rumored, and both are still not available to consumers. While Apple announced the white iPhone would “be available spring 2011,” it has never publicly discussed an iPhone model for Verizon. At this point, perhaps Apple will hold off on releasing a Verizon iPhone until mid-year when the iPhone 5 should debut.
