There's only five days left until Christmas, and that means only five days to get your holiday greetings and presents. But who has the time to get paper cards to send to all friends and family? Save paper and time by making digital Christmas cards with Greetings Cards.
The app opens up with a beautiful interface optimized for iPhone 4's Retina Display, and presents to you a menu with three options: Create Your Design, Settings and About, and Share this App.
Most, if not all, of your time will be spent in the Create Your Design. From here, there are 12 pre-made templates for your Christmas card that you can choose from. Unfortunately, the app doesn't allow you to create your own or insert photos in them. These are merely simple and generic Christmas greetings to send. If you're looking for more personalization, I would recommend the Facecard Christmas Edition app I reviewed earlier.
The templates in Greetings Cards are all good looking though, and fit the bill of simple Christmas messages. Once you select one, just tap and hold on the text to edit it. Once you write in your own text (or keep the default text), then it's time to share your work!
Available options of sharing currently are: Email, Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. It's a quick and easy way to send out a holiday greeting to all of your friends in real life and online at the same time. Or you can be more personal and send a different one to several close friends.
The in-app Settings will let you toggle which social networking services to share to, so if you don't have an account for Twitter or Facebook or Tumblr, you can turn whichever one off.
