After its great success on the iPhone, Skyfire, the alternative iOS browser that allows you to watch Flash videos of all kinds directly on your iDevice, is now on its way to the iPad.

As a reminder, SkyFire for iPhone is an alternative iOS browser built on top of Safari and WebKit, so it feels very much like mobile Safari. It does however contain some amazing additions. Namely: Flash-support. To make this possible, SkyFire’s servers sit between you and the website you visit, and convert Adobe Flash content to iOS-friendly HTML5.

It has already been a huge success on the iPhone, and they were quick to announce that an iPad version is coming soon. We now know even more, as its developers have posted a demonstration video, and announced it should be available before Christmas for $4.99. Check it out, and tell us what you think:

As usual, we’ll keep you posted as soon as it’s out. In the meantime, the iPhone version is available on the App Store now for $2.99.
