New Ketchup Game Is Annoying, Boring, And Shouldn't Be Downloaded

January 19, 2011
After trying out green and purple varieties, what’s a ketchup company to do to make its top selling brand cooler? Create a terrible new app, of course. H.J. Heinz Company, L.P. has released its Dip & Squeeze Ketchup Craze game for the iPhone/iPod touch. It includes ten levels of play. The goal of each level is to place ketchup on some type of food such as French fries, hamburgers, or chicken fingers.

In a word, this game is annoying. Each level of play is simple and is accompanied by a grating soundtrack. At the end of two levels, I turned the game off and promised myself never to play it again. Seriously, this game is a dog. Heinz would have been wiser to bring back its green ketchup and not release its free Dip & Squeeze Ketchup Craze game.
