Further Indications The iPad 2 Is Coming As Supplies Of Original In Europe, Canada Drop

February 21, 2011
We’ve received further indications the iPad 2 is coming sooner rather than later. Previously, we mentioned the U.K.’s Orange and T-Mobile stores are offering discounts on the existing iPad models. Now we hear that some European and Canadian retailers are beginning to sell out of their stock of iPads altogether. According to 9 To 5 Mac, Carphone Warehouse (also in the U.K.) is sold out of the 64 GB Wi-Fi only iPad. In addition, all of its inventory of the iPad Wi-Fi + 3G models are gone. Ingram Micro is now sold out of the 16 GB and 64 GB Wi-Fi only models, and the 64 GB Wi-Fi + 3G model. In Canada, some iPad models at Future Shop are also sold out or low on stock. Don’t be surprised if the iPad 2 is announced very soon. It’s official debut is likely just a few weeks away.
