Grab A Friend And Take On The Evil Red Dots Together In Tilt To Live's New Viva La Coop Mode

February 25, 2011
Alright Tilt to Live fans, this is the moment you and your friends have been waiting for. Instead of competing against one another, you can now join forces to take down those evil red dots in the brand new Viva la Coop mode. Available for free to those who own the Viva la Turret mode in Tilt to Live, Viva la Coop allows you and a friend to take turns controlling and supplying the powerful turret to keep those red dots at bay. During the game only one player is able to control the turret while the other goes around collecting jewels and additional turret pickups to keep it running at full steam. If the turret expires, a new turret pickup will appear and whoever grabs it first will get to control it next. If either of you are touched by a red dot, the game is over for both, so you must work together. Viva la Coop mode works over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and can be accessed by selecting Viva la Turret mode and then tapping the two player button located at the bottom of the screen. With the new mode comes a new Game Center leaderboard as well, so you can still compete against your friends, just in teams of two. Tilt to Live for iPhone and iPod touch is available in the App Store for $2.99. Viva la Turret mode, which is required to play Viva la Coop, is available for $.99 via in-app purchase.
